Back to school blues...

It has been a sad week here thinking about going back to work next week. On one hand I have to leave my baby for the first time and then on the other hand I have to go to work (let's face it, nobody loves to go to work!) Just to make things more difficult I won't be sleeping through the night and I have a feeling that my class this year is going to give me a run for my money! I have been shopping for the back to school essentials and realize that I also need a new wardrobe too! I wonder if Obama has a "back to school" financing plan for poor teachers!!

Hudson's first boo boo...

This morning Hudson got his first head bonk of his life when he tipped forward and fell out of his swing onto the floor. It happened so fast that I felt like it was slow motion, if that makes any sense. He only has a small bump on the right side of his forhead and didn't cry too long. I felt absolutely horrible though! Hopefully it will be a long time until he bumps his little head again!

Teething troubles...

Hudson's teething troubles have officially began and although I feel terrible for him, it is sooo hard to listen to all of the crying and fussing. We made a trip to our "favorite" place Babies R Us for some much needed teething toys and came home with about 7 different things! He really loves the ones that you put in the fridge and there is another ball that he just thinks is great! I can't believe all of the drool that he comes up with when he is gumming those toys! YUCK! We also took a walk to New Seasons last night to calm the baby as well as pick up some teething tablets. Hopefully they work!

He has been sleeping horribly at night due to the teething (I think?), but thankfully after an entire day of no naps on Sunday, he is back on schedule. He is on his 3rd nap of the day right now and it is wonderful! Monty is sitting here with me purring and begging for attention now that his baby brother is finally out of the picture for a short while! I am starting to wonder if I will ever get a minute to myself ever again!

Hudson and I had a fun day today with our friends Jozi and Sara. I would say that Hudson probably had more fun than we did though since he got to sit in the stroller while we walked! Today was his second day riding in his stroller like a big boy without his car seat! It was also the second time that he has worn sneakers, they are so cute on him! I can't believe how fast he is growing up!

The beginning of a new "addiction"

I have been wanting to start a blog since I was pregnant with little Hudson and now that he is almost 4 months old, I am finally getting around to it!
